Classes

Classes are led by James and offered both in our NYC studio and via Zoom. James core curriculum focuses on scene analysis, performance and audition technique using his 16 question approach in combination with sense memory, emotional recall and imagination. His system is a comprehensive embodied understanding of the actor’s craft through diverse approaches. The goal is to equip students with a range of tools and techniques, encouraging them to find their own authentic voice and way of working to help them book roles on network TV and studio films.

Actors from our community consistently work on some of the most-watched shows on television, booking jobs in major markets including NYC, LA, Atlanta, Chicago, New Mexico, and Canada. These classes deliver essential knowledge and hands-on experience to help actors move confidently toward their goals—especially when it comes to preparing for network television auditions.

Classes are ongoing, but enrollment is in two-class blocks to accommodate our actors’ busy booking schedules. If a conflict arises, one missed class may be made up at no additional cost.

Each class runs approximately three hours and begins with a lecture grounded in acting theory or methodology, followed by scene work. Actors perform assigned scenes with our reader or another classmate. Personalized adjustments and redirection are an integral part of the process. Questions are always welcome.

Workshops

Workshops

We regularly host exclusive workshops led by current industry professionals—showrunners, casting directors, associates, producers, directors, agents, and managers. These sessions provide actors with the chance to ask questions, perform scenes, and build genuine industry relationships.

Workshops are open only to current members of our training community and are structured to support professional growth. While highly valuable in this relationship-driven industry, these workshops are for educational purposes only and do not guarantee employment.

Cost: Varies based on the guest professional. We aim to keep fees low and accessible.
